Trade Rumors

Right now is the time where you'll hear all those wacky rumors about players switchin teams. Well, here are the most recent ones and my comments on them;

Jermaine O'neal

Possible destinations: Lakers and Knicks and Timberwolves.

Comments: Should he go with the Lakers then Kobe would'nt want a trade anymore and all would be well for them, and they'd both have a chance at a ring. As for the Knicks Isiah Thomas has always liked Jermaine and right now the Knicks need a low-post scoring threat,Garnett would be ideal but he's aging, O'neal would be better. As for the Timberwolves, considering that Garnett might get traded then Minnesotta would want to replace him with Jermaine.

Kobe Bryant

Possible destinations: Chicago and Phoenix.

Comments: There are other teams interested in him but Kobe wants to win a championship, Chicago would be great except for the fact concerning what Chi-Town would have to give up;Luol Deng and/or Ben Gordon....two eventual all-stars. And Pheonix would also work great (imagine Nash with Kobe) and they don't mind giving away Marion or Stoudemire,but that would create too much offense and lower their overall defense, so it might be risky.

Vince Carter

Possible destinations:Lakers and Knicks.

Comments: Once again the obvious thing with the lakers is for them to trade Kobe for Vince and someone else, sure that might satisfy Kobe (considering he'll be with Kidd) but I doubt LA would be Vince's ideal team. Now the other team that's dying to get him is New York, because Isaih has always loved Carter and says that if they got him they would be title contenders. And rumors are that Vince would'nt mind, so the most likely place for him to go is there.

And the first pick goes to......

Portland! No one was expecting that one, but who should they take, the obvious pick is Greg Oden, but if you take time to think about it, they already have decent forwards and centers, what they're missing is a pure scorer; Kevin Durant. He can drive, post up, shoot the three, shoot a J...he can do it all, he isn't as threatening as Oden on the defensive end, but I think that right now Portland should just increase its defense overall and snatch Durant. I think they should have a chance to make the playoffs next year. As for the monster Oden, he would play best with Seattle; they already have scorers (Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis), so a great shotblocker would work just fine.

Mixtape?

Aight it's been some time since I last posted, but I was real busy...with basketball of course. Anyways, found out that I'll be going to Syria this summer, so your'e askin' why should this interest you right? Well, right beside my cousin's house (he's also goin' to Syria) there's a basketball court, and while it's true that there are very little good ballers there, I'm still gonna ball and have someone recording all of it, so yea,if I get enough moves and stuff I'll make this mini-mixtape. I'm used to organised ball so I amen't that flashy but like I was sayin' with bad players;I could probably get the flashiness level up.Or worst case scenario I'll just make this highliht reel of basic fundamental plays, but we all know that no one wants to see that right?

Frustrated

The Chicago Bulls lost, they fought till the last second, Ben Wallace tried his best despite his bad back. They all tried but I guess it wasn't enough. But what gets any Bull fan frustrated is how many open 3s they had, and missed almost all of them. But you gotta give credit where it's due. And in my opinion the man that ever gave Detroit a chance and the man who's always lead them is Chauncey Billups, just an amazing Point Guard. As for next year well, the Bulls are going to get a First Round Pick via New York, so who knows, with such a deep draft we might just get that much-needed low-post scorer.
